Outland Vinstockon

Someone is stabbing aging Baby Boomers in the city of Vinstockon. Two police detectives fruitlessly seek what they begin to recognize as a serial killer. In search of clues, a waitress agrees to go undercover and interview old hippies regarding a group sex act from the 1970s that might be related to the killings. In the process, she accidentally uncovers some family history for a semi-orphan who has frightfully recurring dreams about a past murder so realistic he actually wonders if he has willed amnesia upon his own mind. Then, a former hippie turned Marine veteran returns to Vinstockon to settle his late uncle's estate, only to find himself enmeshed in old hometown matters he once thought best forgotten.
