Management of urethral strictures in men

To report on our experience in the management of urethral strictures: to determine their prevalence within the department. To investigate the early post-operative outcomes of various surgical techniques and the socio-cultural background of patients. A prospective, descriptive study involving 23 patients treated for urethral strictures in the urology department of Point-G University Hospital between 1 October 2015 and 30 September 2016. Age, occupation, literacy level, place of origin, reasons for consultation, physical examination, additional investigations, treatment modalities and their outcomes were analysed.
