Vangelis Zervas has just been subjected to the most insidious psychological program ever invented by man. He comes out of it in a coma, sequestered in the Medical wing at Vathos Systems. Maddox Maynes, his supervising officer, has also returned from their encounter in 'Inferno', still conscious but carrying something deeply sinister inside him.
