Mapule, a young and beautiful albino girl escapes death after a guy sent to kill her spares her life and subsequently saves her from other hitmen. Together with the guy, Nyamanyama, they run away from the village and find refuge in a forest outside Khayelitsha in the Western Cape. Nyamanyama is sought by the police in connection with the incident that happened in the village. After spending close to six months together in the forest, Mapule develops feelings for Nyamanyama and their affair blossoms. After their return to the village, Nyamanyama and his boss are arrested. Later on Mapule discovers that she's pregnant with his child. Their affair ends after she moves to Cape Town with her father just after her mother's death.
