Cake Chic

Peggy Porschen has spearheaded the whole shift of cake decor from traditional to cutting edge. In this book she combines her amazing gift for matching charming design with striking colour and her effortless flair for accessorising cakes like fashion outfits to produce a striking and elegant collection of cakes. She also puts even more emphasis on making her cakes taste every bit as good as they look, adding exciting flavours to her basic cakes, as well as using the best and most flavoursome of organic ingredients. There are ideas for events like milestone birthdays, girly tea parties, baby showers, and hen nights, as well as more exotic occasions like cocktail parties, anniversaries and pool parties. However, Cake Chic isn't necessarily just for girls, but will suit anyone who wants to put on a memorable show with the minimum of fuss.
