Inspired by a schoolteacher friend, who was looking for vignettes to read her students after lunch, that would leave them with a memorable feeling, author Wolfgang Schultz began imagining a series of kid-centered adventures.Eggie's Excellent Excursions is a humorous collection set at school and out in the community, full of a diversity of students facing challenges and working past them both by themselves and with the help of their friends.As a professional wrestler who entertained at many schools, children's hospital wings, and community events, Schultz learned a lot about young people's cares and concerns. After retiring from wrestling, he began studying psychology, deepening his understanding of child development. He folded those insights into the book.Written in forty-four episodes, Eggie's Excellent Excursions becomes several books in one, making it ideal for children with limited attention spans, ages four to twelve.
